Star Wars Stephen Colbert Portrait Fan Art
As part of an ongoing challenge to fans to modify or re-interpret his famous portrait painting, Stephen Colbert unveiled another choice selection last night - a Star Wars themed one by Robert 'Bob' Thibeault! "Grand Moff Colbert" perhaps?

Fine, We'll Make Our Own Heroes - Lazy Teenage Superheroes
Take a miniscule $300 budget and a lot of ambition and voila, you have Lazy Teenage Superheroes: the short film. Unbelievable production quality and comparisons to Scott Pilgirm vs. The World and our beloved Heroes. Notably, the Heroes comparisons floating around show the interest in a primetime superhero show still exists....and The Cape doesn't seem to be getting it done. Looking in your direction NBC, surely you've got $300 lying around to give someone like this guy.

Red Lobster standing by - Dogs, Forts, and X-Wings
Investigating a funny meme I discovered yesterday: Dog Fort. Missed this earlier in the year, but it's one of most underrated meme-greats of 2010 easily. Add this to the list of Rogue Squadron Red members
Some funny examples of Dog Fort comics and more background on Meme Watch: Dog Fort

Again & Again - Intel shows off performance with desktop program Chase Film
Intel created a video of a movie chase sequence using windows, programs etc all on the desktop. While not a super original idea, as with others, this video is quite well put together.

NFL Logo Parodies Taunt Fans and Haters alike
January means NFL Playoffs are upon us as the season rounds the bend for the home stretch. The road to the Super Bowl (XLVIII, Feb 2rd for those wondering) means an increase in general interest from all around too. To add to the spirit, check out these hilarious NFL Logo spoofs. Designed with poking fun at losers and enemy supporters in mind, the works are by Jon Defreest. Poke fun at your friends' teams (that didn't make the playoffs maybe) or turn on your own favorite team that bombed out and isn't in your good books right now.

This Is How Michael Caine Speaks, by Michael Caine
Right, the only way to top the recent impersonations by Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon would be for the Sir to do it himself. Hilarious, if not really accurate or anything.

Giant Gundam Robot Time-Lapse
Hey there, Happy New Year.
Hard to say if there's been anything this week other than CES gadgets and stuff on the net worth posting on The Cheese. But Friday has been fruitful.
Here's a nice time-lapse of a 1/1 scale Gundam towering throughout the day in Japan.
What's a Gundam? haha
