Greenpeace Rebel Scum use The Force to target Volkswagen
Just when you thought the Commercial Force couldn't get any wackier....
Greenpeace seems to have been inspired by VW's Superbowl ad but also has disdain for the car manufacturer. They do believe there is still good in Volkswagen though.
Campaign site for it is pretty elaborate too:

Every cup of coffee contains its own soul made from paper stop motion magic
Was thinking we haven't see a good classic stopmotion project in awhile - but sure enough, some stuff waiting for me in my Watch Later stack.
Because CA never really WL's, here's the link I was trying to send. Conan turning on funny
Techcrunch seems to be showing Conan videos a lot lately, and it seems like he's getting more geek-funny all the time.

Man, it's hot. Not like hoth, amiright? If only I had something to cool down with...
We don't serve their kind, but we'll serve *from* their kind. Be better with a battle droid straw.

Neo's Nyan Cat Déjà Vu Matrix
Whoa.
Some total internet randomness in action. Inspired by recent reignited Nyan Cat hype, YouTube Gold Idea #101 seemed easy enough to make a reality. haha

Pulp Fiction: Samuel L. Jackson Reads and Swears
Samuel L Jackson reads seminal viral children's book Go the F**k to Sleep. This follows a recent trend of actors with epic voices reading stuff. Though this is a bit more exciting than reading an iTunes TOC or whatever, Richard Dreyfuss.
Not to be outdone by a children's book, and if you want some more swearin' and cussin' - this post-production skill flex features all of the swearing and cussing from Pulp Fiction, with the rest of the movie removed. Supercut indeed.
If you didn't realize pretty early on this stuff is a bit NSFW, well, realize it now.

Linking Robin Williams to Nintendo
So it turns out Robin Williams (and his magic hypno-beard) are avid gamers, at least console ones. For your entertainment, Wii would like to play with U:

Lady Gaga Magneto Youtube Parody X-Men: First Class
Trying to keep the subject line so freaking on topic that there is absolutely no room for humour, just to keep Mark Fuckerberg happy.
Direct quote: "the cheese is reat. which is why you should fucking put proper titles and upload descriptive image names."
Now, I'm not hip and cool and wearing turtlenecks, so forgive me if I don't know what is "reat" and what isn't, but I know I like a little humour in my blog titles.
Now, here's the real meat to this post. I present, without further comment, or at least not much further comment, Magneto covering Lady Gaga. The joining of these two makes some truly Bad Romance.

Darth Vader: I'm Going to Disneyland! Star Tours baby!
Disney-fied version of the Imperial March? If they wanted to do some serious crossover promotion, they should have had the Vader kid from the Volkswagen superbowl ad.
Wonder if he'd go to Empire On Ice?

So, you can play Pong with a smartphone at McD's in Sweden - from a browser, not an app. Double Down, you're on notice!

Flippin' Tomorrow's Cheese - Grilled Cheese that is
Here's a story fit for The Cheese as we like to call it. Tech entrepreneur Jonathan Kaplan, famous for those Flip HD cameras that Cisco bought and subsequently discarded, is going into some new venture revolving around grilled cheese stores.
The idea is simple: customers visit a website and place an order for a grilled cheese sandwich (of which there are an assortment of varieties to choose from) and then a QR code of their order is generated and once presented at any store location, the order is whipped up on the spot - within a minute according to the plan.

George Lucas Strikes Back - epic fan trailer
It's another Star Wars post I know, but it's too well done not to. The true story of George Lucas' epic mission to find the man who made the prequels - and destroy him.
