Claymation Discovery In Antarctica - Pingu's The Thing

Happy New Year!

Pingu, everyone's favourite South Pole penguin, was always kind funny.  This rendition of him and friends in a remake of classic horror bit The THING, is automatically a must watch of course.

A Very Calvin & Hobbes Christmas - Snowmen!

Attack of the Deranged Mutant Killer Monster Snow Goons indeed.  This is great.

As far as festive vids today, it was a toss up between this and "Sith Lord brings joy to studying students"

Stop Motion History of the World

Not new, but it's Friday, so something upbeat and stopmotion-y is good.

Kina Grannis x Jelly Belly - Secret Crazy Stop Motion

288,000 jellybeans and 2 years of work in this stop motion project.  Secret Crazy Project indeed.
Impressive nonetheless.

Always a fan of stop motion escapades here at YC.  I hope Jelly Belly buys the rights to this song or something. At least they acknowledged this ultimate work. heh.
The Making Of/Behind the Scenes video is pretty interesting too.

Star Wars Stop-Motion: Probably better than I could do

This 5 year old kid made a "stop-motion" video with some Star Wars Lego guys. A+ for effort given his age. What's sad is that this 5 year old did it and meanwhile 5 years have gone by with us talking about it. Looking for random star wars-y looking hard drive and a webcam now....

March Madness History Made in Lego Stopmotion

I assume March Madness is coming to an end this weekend (in Apri?).  Not too many must be following it right now since everyone's bracket was most likely obliterated with recent upsets and low seeded breakthroughs.  According to ESPN Research, of the 5.9 MILLION people who signed up and filled out brackets on the ESPN website, ONLY TWO got the Final Four correct.

So now it's time to sit back and have some fun, and maybe catch the final which will either be a blowout or a classic.  Start by reliving some March Madness memories, ...done with LEGO,... in stopmotion.
